I like my home to be somewhere where my friends can feel like they can put their feet up on the couch and for it to feel like really easy living. I really love to have my friends over, cook dinner for them, catch up, and spend quality time with quality people in my life.

Yesterday was another good simple Italian Sunday dinner and a pretty good indication of just what was for dinner, the pasta drying on the counter. Fresh parmesan pasta fettuccine, yes the parm is in the pasta dough a recipe that I would like to perfect because the first time with a new recipe is always a bit of a hassle as it was nothing like any of the other doughs that I have made, just a bit more difficult to handle, but in the end worth the try. I did have to sample a little to be sure that it wouldn’t disintegrate in the pot as it was a rather delicate and I will consider making it a bit thicker the next time.
Good simply dressed with butter, freshly ground pepper and a bit more cheese, but since I did make pork cutlets and a fresh tomato sauce today, I can see a little of the sauce making its way to Michael’s pasta.
If you make your own pasta, this recipe was 1/2 pound freshly grated parmesan, 1/2 pound 00 flour, and three eggs, follow pasta dough in a food processor instructions.
